In celebration of our dear teacher Dr. Nida Chenagtsang’s upcoming birthday on October 19th, our international sangha is raising funds for a Medicine Buddha statue to be the centerpiece of the Tanaduk Garden at Dr. Nida’s new retreat land Yuthok Ling in Arce, Italy.
Dr. Nida founded Yuthok Ling in Arce, Italy in 2023, and began building a Sowa Rigpa retreat center for people to gather for personal and group retreats, receive Sowa Rigpa healing, and take much needed time to reconnect with nature and themselves. With Yuthok’s blessings and collective efforts of the sangha, the build-out of a yoga pavilion, retreat cabin, Tibetan yurt, kitchen, and garden cafe are in various states of progress and completion.
As a precious gift, Donla Tsering is fundraising for the purchase of a Medicine Buddha statue to be the centerpiece for the Tanaduk garden. Made by a Nepali artist, the statue stands 6 feet (nearly 2 meters) tall.
Dönla is offering Medicine Buddha practice on Dr. Nida's birthday open to the public to initiate raising funds of $25,000 for the statue. Your contribution is immensely appreciated and will go towards the sharing of Sowa Rigpa knowledge to benefit many beings.

Dönla Tsering
Dönla Tsering was born to a Tibetan family in India, and at a young age was entrusted to the care of famous Tibetan scholar and astrologer Ngawang Dakpa. After finishing high school in Delhi, she moved to Italy, where she became a student of Dr. Nida Chenagtsang in 2002 with whom she studied Kunye massage, Tibetan medicine, Mantra Healing, Sa Che and Yuthok Nyingthig. Donla teaches and guides retreats worldwide as a senior instructor for Sorig Khang International.
